- Sciences: Students must select at least two sciences, with choices ranging from Biology and Chemistry to Physics and Environmental Systems.

- The Arts: Students can select one course in any artistic discipline.
**In addition, the program includes three core elements:**
- The Theory of Knowledge (TOK): An interdisciplinary course that explores the nature of knowledge and how we know what we know.
- Extended Essay (EE): A research-based paper of up to 4,000 words where students delve deeply into a topic of their choosing.
- Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS): Students participate in extracurricular activities that encourage them to take initiative, collaborate with others, and give back to their communities.
